I have to say, I love the Proteus's. Kindred spirits to Fred and George, you could say.

Professor Riggs scared most of the students half to death this past yearThat wouldn't be Professor Martin Riggs, by any chance?
Excellent story, looking forward to the final instalment.

Seriously, what's up with all the switching back and forth with Ginny's name?

Excellent most excellent. I particularly loved the pop culture references. I haven't seen Lobo's catch phrase used in a long time. And the Jelly Babies? Tom Baker might actually be able to pull off playing Dumbledore if he grew a beard.... I can just see it now.
Professor Dumbledore steps out from behind the door and stares at Lucius Malfoy, while flipping an overly long scarf around his neck. He cheerfully says, 'Well hello. Would you like a Jelly Babie? They're quite good.'

Ginny's name according to Wikipedia & JK Rowling
Source referenced in Wiki article.
Not Ginerva, not Virginia...Ginevra.
You should maybe have people look over your work and suggest fixes. The story's not bad, but the errors are distracting.

Oh, so sad it's over. It was such a great story, I absolutely loved it. It was very clever to eliminate the sequel that seemed necessary up to this chapter. Overall, one of the most impressive stories I've ever read. Very nice work.

I can't believe it's almost over. Quite an amusing chapter, overall. I love that the whole house had hangovers, I would have loved to be there to laugh at them. Yay!

Aaack, they had Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters. How cool! Wow, I love the Hitchhiker's Guide reference. And yes, I do know I rant about it every time I find one, but that description the "slice of lemon wrapped around a gold brick," it always cracked me up. Very funny. I seem to remember once reading a story, I know it wasn't yours but I think it's another authors from this site, who was talking about Harry talking in poetry during a romance (can't remember the pairing) and the woman said "Being in love makes you talk like bad poetry" and Harry replied "At least it's not Vogon poetry." I cracked up so hard I fell out of bed. That was my random Hitchhiker's Guide reference story of the day. Thank you for reading my random rant. Hitchhiker's Guide and HP are two of my favorite things so every time they come together I get very excited, that's all. And my newfound hyperness gave birth to a rant. What more can I say?

Aaah, Voldie is sufficiently creepy, that's for sure. Quite a dramatic ending. I like what you did with Bella and bringing her back from insanity, although that will change her character a little, her canon character is a bit touched in the head. I loved the chapter.

Aaaah, so great. I liked some of the theories from a review from last chapter, I am figuring things out. I totally loved the chapter, such events are occuring. The attacking tomatoes were great. I love the Hitchhiker's Guide reference, by the way. I was laughing so hard. The Ravenous Bugbladder Beast of Traal. Oh yes, I do love it.

I have just one question. How is it that something in sanskrit rhymes in English? Would have made your life a lot easier if you hadn't had to make it rhyme. It's a very interesting prophecy, I like that you added a bunch of stuff from before the timeline of the story to give legitimacy to the prophecy. At least we know Harry doesn't die, or there'd be no Gregory Porteus. Thank goodness for that.

Elvis? Heh, that's hilarious. Your story is too addicting, I need to do my homework but I want to read on. Oh well, your story will still be here when I'm done, I suppose.
