I have reread this story too many times to disrespect you by not saying SOMETHING.

This story, short though it may be, FRIGGING ROCKS. The only thing that would make it better was if it were but one of several one-shot stories utilizing ritual magic like this. God, do I love stories like this.

Please keep writing, and I'll keep reading.

Another favorite short of yours! this one is cool as the magic seems ot be a very unique blend of transmutation/runic/etc/phoenix/etc. Very cool work and I love the line about Battening down the hatches! heheh. Awesome job for sure.

It would have been interesting to have some reactions from his actions besides the professor. His friends and the other champions for instance. I bet Karakoff still only gave him no more than a four and Snape cursed him for showing off and unsportsmanlike behavior.
