You managed to capture the essense of Hellraiser quite nicely with this, and fitting Harry into it was well thought out.

I could actually see Pinhead doing something like that. Spare someone, since they will provide him and his associates what they desire

i believe you should do a sequal since it says in last 5 sentences "he had a feeling that this was not the last time young harry would solve a problem by employing the puzzle box." idk if you wanted a sequal but u set yourself up for one and i'm not completely adverse to it. please make a sequal

cool i decided to look up what the cenobites looked like so i went to imbd.com and i looked up Hellbound: Hellraiser II and i saw what they all looked like. they are coll as hell looking but i dont really like the chatterer it seems like something from a bad autopsy meeting a huge fire from well...hell. i think it would b cool if you mad a sequal to where harry meets pinhead in limbo and pinhead offers him a "job". maybe a reaper or someone who eggs on people to open the box or one of the other gateways. its just an idea but i think people would like it. idk its just some ramblings of an insane person

This is the single most awesome xover with HP that I have ever read.

The interaction between Harry and the Cenobites sends chills down my spine.

The one point of perhaps improvement is when Umbitch ask about the lament configuration. I think comparing the desire to open the box to the need of happy memories for the Patronus Charm would make it go smoother and explain it in a context the wizards in HP would understand.

WOW! All I can say! I haven't seen Hellraiser (or the sequels) since their release, but I must admit I'm feeling nostalgic now, may go rent them. BTW - I solved my Lament Configuration in less than 10 minutes, the first time, after that, depending on who I asked to "unsolve" it, my time ranged from 8 to 110 minutes, though I can also solve a Rubik's Cube, and virtually any puzzle in my hand, eventually..........Would be a great story to write a sequel too as well (hint hint)

Inspired, I supposed. Or possessed, if you consider the subject matter.

I would say definitely possessed. But sometimes the devils need their dues. And this definitely qualifies.
This is an amazing story, and I am going to have to go and read anything else of your's that I can get my hands on.

Damn, Rusk! You're something else man - I've never seen any of the movies you got some of the ideas from, but hell, this was incredible!

There's something peversly poetic about this peice, a guilty pleasure to read, a macarbe wonder, dark delight ... and so origional as well! Twisted in the best sense of the word

They can't go back alone, and we can't leave and be the same.

It's no wonder it's past 700 reviews on FF.net - for a one-shot it wqas also refeshingly long too - you're one hell of a writer, man!
