It's been so long since you have updated this tale, which has always been one of my favorites, but thought i would have to let you you know that the distance from london to barcelona is less than a thousand miles (717 or according to Google). Gods, I wish you would update this tale among others. I truly think that you are gifted. This story and the other about Harry raised in the larger universe were just brilliant. Thanks for what you have done.

Such a heavy chapter, but such a funny ending. It figures Luna would do something like that. I loved it.

This was one of the better Harry-recovering-from-his-first-kill(s) scene.

The Ron-and-Harry chat, the Hermione-and-Harry chat, and the Hermione-and-Ron chat after the H-and-H chat were very well written.

Well done. I'm glad people are talking and Dumbledore has talke Amelia into not arresting Harry outright. It is good that Luicius is out of the picture plus Voldemort's henchmen are 10 less including some of his best Death Eaters. I'm glad Harry was able to save Hermione this time. It is great he and Ron talked about Harry and Hermione being a couple instead of Ron/Hermione. It is a much better fit anyway. I have a little problem with Luna/Ginny but that is just me. It does add a little surprise to the story. I think it is hilarious that Harry got interuppted in his shower by Luna and Hermione has to recue Harry. That is great. I love these little surprises. Thanks for writing. pms

I never get this lucky!
Late Thursday night I grabbed chapters 1-14 and started reading. A few hours later I came to the end of chapter 14 and was horrified at the predicament Hermione was in and... no more chapters. I was in quite a state.
Out of sheer desperation I went back online and lo and behold, you had added chapters 15 and 16 while I was reading. Thank goodness! Like I said, I never get that lucky.
Great story. The rescue was handled brilliantly and I suppose it's a good thing they didn't get away without something bad happening. I'm glad Harry and Ron talked things out and that Harry's words seem to have triggered that maturity we all know Ron has hidden away in there somewhere. It's touching to see the tenderness Harry has for Luna because of the memories he's seen. Her frank nature extending to nakedness among friends yields hilarious results. I can't wait until she works up the nerve to talk to Ginny. I'm such an old softy...
I'll be hanging on waiting to see how everything resolves. Keep up the fantastic work.

Just checking here to see how far it's been updating - crossing fingers for chapter 19, you know :-) - I have read this before on ff.net. While I think Harry is overdoing the angst and self-recrimination thing a bit (DEs deserve everything they get), he IS only 16, and it was a very touching scene.

I'd totally forgotten until I re-read your story today about the dangling plot thread of the Ministry discovering that Harry had cast an unforgivable. I'm wondering if that's going to be used anywhere coming up. Maybe - hopefully - after Harry has gained control of the Prophet?

Great story, I hope your real life allows you to finish it!

AWESOME! Just finished catching up (Did you know that the E-mail alert systems is only sending alerts for about 1 story in 5?) Excellent work, the inpromptu councilling session and the...errm... Improvised shower... Were easily my favorite parts, Pretty funny how Luna acts and reacts though.

Keep up the excellent work!

OK, You done good! Hermione's rescue was really well done! Harry is furious, and yet holds himself in check long enough to keep himself from doing anything stupid.(er) I liked the no-quarter action at the Grangers home, although I really can't understand how they were able to escape the scene. Yes, it does take time for the police to show up, but the neighbor's surely would have seen Doctors Granger leave. As you indicated, Machine gun fire is rather distinctive.(I know. It's been directed towards me too often.) I assume the Obliviators had a hand there, but who contacted the ministry?
Why is Amilia Bones so charged up? Being as the dead Death Eaters were all wearing club uniforms, and ol' Fudgy isn't in the picture anymore, I'd think she'd be happy as a pig in slop that she doesn't have to deal with them. Of course, Harry's treatment of the oh-so-innocent (NOT!) Drakey, likely would have raised her eyebrows...a little...maybe.
Hermione's emergency surgery was well written. She's damn lucky nothing vital was hit. I traced the possible locations of such an injury. There ain't one. Abdominal torso, the knife would have punctured the intestines stomach spleen pancreas, liver gall bladder duodenum or either kidney. Thoracic torso, either lung and or heart. Sorry. In addition, the descending aorta would have gotten in the way. I really liked the disarming of the hidden traps on the dagger. Very high tension. Just like a bomb. (Thank all the gods ther are I only had to do that once!)
All this and Harry is still the same shy and
3uncertain boy who desperately wants to be accepted for what he is, not his image. nicely done. The talk with Ron after Harry's cathartic meltdown shows a side to him I usually don't show in my stories (except one). He understands why. he doesn't like it, but he understands. It seems our little Ronnikins is growing up.
Luna is a joy to read. I love the innocent yet not, innocent air you've given her, especially the *infamous* shower scene. Heh heh heh! Imagine what would happen if Harry would link her up with the unheavenly twins in this timeline, well before necessary. As always, I eagerly await the next posting. Alorkin

Did Hermione's parents get into HQ, and what are you going to do with the orther two girls. Harry has not gone to his godfather's will reading, (this was or is a good chapter by the way)are you going to have Harry and Hermione get married. If so why not marry Harry off to Ginny and Luna as well.

LOL! Loved _this_ cliffhanger! I'm sure it will all work out innocently, but...

Liked the aftermath of the battle (good battle, too). The effect on Harry is great.

Glad you're giving us snippets of other action, too - Dumbledore and the Order, and Voldemort. Glad the Twins are with Harry.

BTW, I keep forgetting -- your Luna is wonderful!!!! Absolutely wonderful.

And thanks for updating so quickly!
