"'Actually, bats can see perfectly fine,' commented Luna, still staring at the bats above. 'The problem is, they fly around during the night and can't see all that well in the dark.'" The really
weird part is, she's right. Of course, sonar makes up for a lot.
"By now Harry had devoured several fried eggs, sunny side up, enough rashers of bacon to make half a pig, two slices of buttered toast, and enough guava juice for the giant squid to swim in. Even
more amazing was that he was not showing any sign of slowing down or stopping." Yet even more amazing still was that he managed to get his hands on guava juice at all.
And, well, I'm afraid we're just going to have to tell the professors that you've contracted laryngitis, Ron...
In other words, loved, laughed, and moving on to the next chapter!
The conversation between Harry and Dumbledore was an exercise in brilliance. Compelling writing.
Though not direct at all, I just feel like Harry and Hermione are getting closer to an established relationship.
Silencing Ron is always fun. Somethings the boy just refuses to learn.
I like this chapter. I hope Harry & Dumbledore can mend their fences. I'm glad someone came up with a way to styfle Ron! Very good. I look forward to more chapters. Thanks for writing. pms
Poor Ron. Eventually he may learn when to keep his mouth shut...

Hehe, silencing Ron is a very good way to shut him up. I realized something though. Lots of versions of Harry wouldn't be able to be silenced, because I assume Ron can't get it off because he can't say the spell. But lots of versions of Harry can to wandless or wordless magic and would therefore be able to take the silencing spell off himself.
Just a thought I had. Anyways, I really liked it... I always do. Keep up the amazing work.
