Yes, just to confirm, I'm not dead yet!

Just mostly dead, which as Miracle Max says is still slightly alive. That means nobody is allowed to go through my clothes and look for loose change.

In any case, I'm hopefully going to be back for a little while. No promises on how long, though, as there is this dreadful thing called "real life" which keeps insisting that I do horrible things... like take a job and other such nonsense.

Still, I have escaped for the moment and hope to make the best of it.

First I'm putting up a new little story that popped into my head on day. Everyone give a warm welcome to Masters of Death, which I'm hopeful will be the first of several stories that will be coming in future weeks and months.

And all fans of Culture Shock, do not despair, I'm already hard at work on the next chapter and several of the following ones as well!

Being struck by inspiration is a wonderful thing sometimes, but at others it can be a hell in of itself.

Well, now that the rabid plot bunny is appeased, time to get back to Culture Shock...

Welcome to 2008, a year hopefully filled with a fair number of stories. I've recently regained my gruntle (Amazing what a little lying out in the sun can accomplish) and plan to keep going.

No definite plans for Backwards Compatible, I'm afraid. That story is, for the time being, on a permanent hiatus until I can figure out exactly what I want to do with it. In the meanwhile, though, I do have a few other ideas that I want to explore.

Just a little something to tide us all over until I manage to finally, finally, get around to putting Backwards Compatible up for viewing. I'm hoping to do that sometime in the next couple of weeks, hopefully in conjunction to finishing work on the next chapter of said story. In the meanwhile, enjoy!

Finished uploading my Order of the Phoenix and Well of Shadows stories. These were the first two of my longer - full length fics. The third part of the trilogy The Shattering of Souls is in production, though I don't plan to begin posting until after finishing work on Backwards Compatible.

Added If I Dream I Have You, Leviathan Rising, Those Who Hunt Death Eaters and Those Who Still Hunt Death Eaters. All short stories of only a few thousand words a piece, but all generally the ones I personally consider the cream of the crop.

Uploaded my three principle one-shots; The Quiet Place, Evil Be Thou My Good and Something Grim This Way Comes. These are the longest fics I've written that aren't multi-chapter, so I'm putting them up first.

I hope to start posting Order of the Phoenix, Well of Shadows, Flying Without A Broom and Backwards Compatible sometime during the week.
